Discover the real Lanzarote.

The island of Lanzarote is one of the seven main Canary Islands, less than 100 km from the African coast and the most northerly located. The island is 60km long and 20 km wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.

It has a spectacular volcanic landscape with dramatic scenery, stunning coastlines and a wonderful year round warm climate. In fact, Lanzarote has the best weather of the Canary Islands, with a constant light breeze. The year-round climate averages 23 degrees C and there's on average 3,000 hours of sunshine and only 16 days of rainfall per year!

This unique island was declared a World Biosphere Reserve in 1993 in response to its spectacular volcanic landscapes, a depth of history and agriculture, an abundance of nature and fauna, numerous long stretches of sandy beaches, delicious food, iconic cultural elements and a very laid-back feel.

There's so much to do and discover. Lanzarote is a culturally rich and stylish destination, perfect for those discerning travellers and holidaymakers. Richard and Tarnya know the island and all its hidden secrets really well, from the best cheese stalls at the local farmers market, to hidden beach coves, the most scenic island drives, to the best surf and picnic spots, let them share their insider tips with you!
