Exclusive 10% discount for Finca Malvasia customers on 3 or 5 day surf courses

Finca Malvasia is a must for those looking for a more stylish option than the usual surfer's crash pad. Finca Malvasia has launched a number of surfing holiday options which incorporate stunning accommodation, delicious breakfasts, packed lunches, BSA accredited surf tuition, equipment hire, a relaxing post surf massage and surfers supper.

The 'Aspiring Surfer Experience' is a seven-day break with three or five full days tuition. It's perfect for the novice family looking to learn to surf together, groups of friends, couples and individuals or for those who are newish to the sport and require daily tuition as an improver.

All tuition takes place at the stunning Famara beach, 6km of golden sandy beach break under the skilful guidance of British Surf Association instructors and lifeguards making the experience a safe option for beginners.

Located in rural Lanzarote, Finca Malvasia is just 10 minutes from Famara beach offering consistent, year round waves that are perfect for all levels, from total beginners to seasoned experts. Enjoy a healthy breakfast before spending the day getting to grips with the waves. The day’s tuition runs from 10.30am to 4pm, and you will learn how to paddle out through waves, how to turn and manoeuvre correctly, how to ride broken and unbroken waves, and many other board skills. First lessons are on soft trainer boards, helping you to stand and ride waves on your first day, then you will move on to fibre glass boards during the course. As well as practical skills you will also learn about the history of surfing, surf board design, rules of surfing, and how the weather affects the waves.

At the end of each day retreat to your stylish hideaway, set among working vineyards, for an utterly relaxing evening. If you wish Finca Malvasia can prepare a ‘Surfer’s Supper’ – a Moroccan tagine which feeds up to four and is served on your terrace when you return hungry after a day in the surf.

When you’re not catching waves, you can kick back in the vineyard, take a dip in the lagoon style pool, or opt for one of the many massage and beauty treatments that are on offer in the circular volcanic treatment and yoga room located in the vineyard.

Warning: Surfing can be very addictive and good for your health
