The main diving in Lanzarote takes place around the larger resorts. With both boat and shore dives on offer and the depth and skill range of the dive sites, Lanzarote is a fantastic location for diving.
Near the shores the sea bed is often sandy, but it quickly drops away to steep volcanic walls and reefs. Divers can witness lava flows and cave formations, there's an abundance of fantastic places to explore. The rocks are covered in anemones, sponges and soft corals and are home to many types of fish.
On the safety side, there is also a decompression chamber on the island that can house six people at once.
