The Association of Surfing Professionals, World Qualifying Series.
From the 15th to the 21st Ocober
As one of several legs of the european tour, the WQS rolls into town along with an international line'up of professional surfers all hoping to finish the year with a place in the World Championship Tour.
The event takes place at the beautiful San Juan beach on the North West Coast where a long left and a short right barrel over a shallow reef creating long rides, perfect for competition.
The event starts each day at 10am and culminates in a music festival on Saturday night.
